Ellie and Bill lived next door to my parents, Janet and Bob Evans, for many years in Aptos. She was always very kind and caring and I was so grateful. RIP, Ellie.
Ellie was such a blessing to me. Visiting with her over the years always brought me joy. Ellie was always interested in my boys and how they were doing and in my nursing journey. She prayed for me often, and I am grateful for our friendship. She had a laugh I will always treasure. My prayers are with you, her family. I look forward to hearing her laugh again in heaven. Ellie was my "sister friend" . There are not enough words to say how much she meant to me. I treasure all the days we spent together over many years. My family and I loved Aunt Eleanor dearly and we will miss her very much. She was a sweet, caring, happy lady who was always glad to see you. We have tears now, but I know eventually they will turn into smiles.
