I am grateful for the years that I shared with my husband Larry.
In memory of You & Me: I will treasure memories of dancing, drive-in movies, cruising the Chevy listening to oldies, riding the motor, participating in Hot Rod car shows, flying kites, talking on the CB radio, working as a team.
RIP dear husband: I keep the memory of You in Me.
All my love,
Nancy

I met Larry in High School, I was a Senior and he and his sister Linda were Sophomores. His cousin Bonnie was a Junior and one of my best friends. Larry, of
course thought because I was friends with his cousin, I should get to know him. He sat next to me in typing class and once when the teacher said "throw the carriage" (only the older group will know what that means), he threw the carriage so hard it came off the typewriter and went across the room. YES, he became very easy to get to know.
He had shop on the first floor and I was a hall monitor that period on the second floor.
He would cut his finger on purpose just enough to have to go to the nurse. His route to the nurse always included a stroll up to the second floor so he could chat a few minutes with me, then eventually went back downstairs to the nurse.
We did become friends, all of us and when we asked him and Linda to go roller skating with our bunch, they had to have their older brother Dick drive them. Dick stayed to skate and we soon started dating and that's how I got Larry for a brother-in-law,
Even though Larry moved to California, I will always have nothing but fond memories of him. We would go out there on vacation when we could, my girls loved him, he made them laugh all the time. The boys came along later and he was like a little kid teaching them how to fly kites (I picked up a few hints too.) I had to ride on the motorcycle with him and of course in the Chevy.
Larry was a talker, but not much good at writing. His emails almost were always pictures of his motorcycles and his cars. For the most part we had to catch up on everything when we were visiting.
We all loved Larry and will miss him, but will never forget him. It brings a smile to my face just thinking about him.
His favorite sister-in-law, :)

I have so many memories of my dear cousin Larry. His dad and my mom were brother and sister so our families were close. We would go to California on vacation and stay with them, and they would do the same when they came to Illinois. When they finally moved to Illinois, they lived with us while looking for a home. What fun we had! Larry always had one-liners and jokes to keep everyone laughing. However, he had a serious side that not many people saw. Larry and I would disappear from the family group and take a walk or sit in the grass and just talk. It was those special times that I remember most.
A more recent memory happened in 2002. My husband passed away and who popped up with an e-mail on my computer but Larry! He said he would be there for me every day ...and sure enough, every single day he was on my computer. This went on for an entire year. When the conversation got too serious, there would be another joke or one-liner again. He was sweet and funny...and a wonderful guy. We were cousins but we were also best friends.
Larry, I love you and will miss you forever. Thanks for all the memories!

Larry was always a tease when we were growing up and between him and our older brother Dick I had to learn to even the odds fast to survive! LOL
Larry was good at playing jokes on us and always had these one liners he'd toss into a conversation or his words of wisdom! Yup they broke the mold after Larry was born!
People found it hard to believe we were twins! LOL
I could be witty at times and loved to have fun but I was the more serious one. Larry was always the adventurous one and class clown.
I've told everyone that Larry will be cruzin' the clouds of Heaven in his 57 Chevy and riding his Harley. I hope Heaven is ready for you Larry and I know you will keep them entertained!
Luv Ya Your Twin Sis Linda
