3/30/2017: I just read in the Valley Press your announcement of a celebration of Ann's life. I will not be able to attend as I will be out of town. However it is important for me to offer the family condolences. I did not know she passed away. I am saddened by this news because she made such a difference in the lives of everyone she met, if I am any indication of that. She hardly knew me but there was always a smile & hello! She always made time to listen to how things were going with me. I was and still am involved with young children. After earning my E.C.E. degree, I took over Little People's preschool and kindergarten in Boulder Creek as an owner/director and continued in that role for 10 years. Now I am a grandmother of six under the age of 7 years who all live locally. I shared my passion with young children with Ann and she was a valued advisor as I pursued my degree and professional vision. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Dancy Girot

I am so sorry for your loss. Ann was a wonderful friend and an inspiring person. I served on a committee with her several years ago and she was always helpful and caring. She always had a smile on her face and kept a positive attitude. She will be missed in our community. Peggy Ames and family

Barbara Benedict Kimball posted a condolence

I was sorry to hear that Ann had passed away recently. Ann and Chuck were friends of my parents, Kay and Joe Benedict. Ann was always warm and kind to all of us "Benedict kids"; but really had a soft spot for our younger brother Dana, who passed away a few years ago. Mom and Ann were both passionate about early childhood education and my Dad and Ann spent many hours supporting the San Lorenzo Valley schools.
My heart goes out to the Wise family who has lost a wonderful woman.
