Last week I was driving down Iris Court in San Jose, and for some reason flashed on a man who I worked with in the 1980's who lived along the tree lined street. I was as a Realtor in Willow Glen, and Gordon joined our small office for a time after his years as an accountant. He was a very personable and sweet man, and I remember enjoying some good laughter with him. I'm sorry for your loss.

There are so many memories I have of Gordon. He was a lumberjack, worked in a gold mine, owned a pistachio" plantation", flipped houses. He played guitar in the lumber camps and almost fell through a grate into a gold mine. He served in the Army as a member of the swim team, ran marathons, played golf 3 times a day. When he started "slowing down" he hiked all over Felton and Fall Creek Park with Carol in tow and then went and hit some golf balls - before lunch! It was rare to see Gordon sitting down. When the music started, he was always on the dance floor. As a young man, he danced the Lindy and wore a suite called a "Chicago Drape". During his high school years, his car was painted with the words: "Hey Chicks, here's your Coupe"!
I think "WOW" was one of his favorite words. Wow Gordon, we sure will miss you! Love, Adele
