Obituary of Michael Lloyd Kimpton

Michael Lloyd Kimpton Resident of Ben Lomond Nov.8, 1962 - Sep.28, 2013 Michael Kimpton passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ben Lomond. He was 50 years old. He touched many lives with his sense of humor and positive outlook on life. Born in Ontario, Canada, Michael hitchhiked across the country to Santa Cruz at the age of 18. As a local business owner, Michael started his career importing jewelry. He later turned his treasured hobby of buying and selling antiques into a successful career. Volunteering in his community also brought him great joy. His life was filled with love and dedication to his family, faith, and friends. Michael is survived by his devoted daughter, Reyena Kimpton, his son-in-law, Seth Landig, and his beloved grandchildren, Isabella and Elijah, all of Santa Cruz. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan Beauregard and Valerie Kimpton of Quebec, Canada, and Janet Kimpton of Ontario, Canada; his aunts, Katherine Warren of Escondido, Carine Jephcott of Quebec, Canada, Susan Jephcott of Ontario, Canada, and his many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, November 2nd at 1:30pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church located at 101 Riverside Ave. (at Glen Arbor Rd.) Ben Lomond, CA 95005. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
