We met Michael about 3 years ago through our church. We appreciated his positive attitude and sense of humor, as well as his warm, friendly personality. (and he made a fabulous blueberry pie!). His delight in his daughter and his grandchildren were always evident. He loved God and his family, and we will miss him.

Mike would laugh each time I would remind him that we first met 13 years ago at the Flea Market. He was a most engaging fellow and he introduced me to the entire new world of interesting antique collectibles. An old fashioned traditionalist he actually loved visiting with friends for the sheer joy of conversation and fellowship. I will never forget his recollections of time spent at the family cabin on a bucolic Canadian lake. He certainly knew his American history and the West in particular. It always brought a great chuckle to see him in his Confederate Grays and remembering he was a born Canadian. But the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Mike now is that he was a kind man and a true practicing Christian. I knew him just long enough to witness his spiritual journey and could see the growth and peace of mind he was able achieve.

A true friend and spirit. Mike was one of the good guys in this world and will be greatly missed. His visits to my store in Carmel were a hoot and we had much laughter and good times. He spoke of his love of The Lord and never judged others. He so loved his daughter and grandchild and spoke of them endlessly. A good friend and buddy, I miss you.
