Peter and I spent many great times together. There should probably be a book written on the adventures we experienced together. Santa Cruz was an exciting place to grow up in. My favorite memories were working with Peter on restoring WW11 warbirds under the supervision of my hero Keith Larkin. We fixed two PBY's, a T-6, B-25, P-51 and many more. I learned how to fly with Peter and cherish our hours in the air together. My favorite memory was when Peter and his wife Karen surprised me on my Birthday and we flew to Lake Tahoe. What a great time. I will miss you Peter Bell and your awesome bride Karen. RIP pal. See you on the other side man.

I was very saddened to hear of Pete's passing. We were in a band together in high school. He was the drummer. We had a lot of fun together. I'm remembering his love for planes and him spending time at Larkin Aviation and his impressive resume with fire fighting aviation after that. Of course I wish I'd kept in contact with him more. The last I saw him he came to my work with Karen just to say hi. RIP Pete Bell.

Appreciate you sharing your memories about Peter. The picture is an amazing. He will be missed! It’s sad that both he and Karen are gone. Both are tragic losses. Thank you, Cheryl Keenan (Karen’s sister)

We have been missing Peter. We spent last football season having Pete and Bella come to our house when he was home. He had a little flag he would bring over. We all went to high school together and he was part of a group that regularly got together for food and friendship. I knew Peter before I knew Don as we road the bus together to Scotts Valley School. He was so excited about his new airplane. We talked about flying with him to Tahoe. He was going to go surf fishing with Don. We were planning on going to brunch at Venus when he got home.
