Erik John Nilsson, Sr. Obituary

Erik John Nilsson Sr. “Bundy” left us on Monday, April 29th at 6 pm. He spent his last days at home, surrounded by family and friends, his dog, Mayhem and cats, Vixie, Homey, Bummer and Moo.

Erik's heart was huge and kind. He was generous; gave his friends rides, emotional support, shelter, endless smart remarks and wild greeting cards. He enjoyed live music, skateboarding, Family Feud, Hot Wheels, burritos and Engfer’s Pizza.

Erik valued service. He helped many in their journeys to make better lives for themselves. He was well-loved by his Early Riser friends. To them, the family extends our gratitude for being Erik's beloved community for the past 19 years. Will we forget you? "NO WAY!!”

Erik is survived by his son, Erik John Nilsson, Jr, (wife, Brianna); his daughter, Riley Rain Nilsson; grandchildren, Hunter, Lucas, and Autumn; his parents, Phyllis Rosenblum and Walter Nilsson (wife, Carol); his sister, Susan Nilsson (fiancée, Raul); step-siblings, Susan Webster (husband, Richard), John Rosenblum (wife, Ulrike); and Anne Lintz (husband, Jim); and many loving cousins.

Erik was a man of dignity, grace; he always wore a smile on his face.
