Nancy Eleanor Wells, 83, of Hollister, California, passed away on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at the William & Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility. Nancy was born in Reno, Nevada on March 28th, 1941, to Franklin and Eleanor Olsen. Nancy grew up in Susanville, California and went to Lassen Junior College where she met Harold Wells. Nancy and Harold married on March 31st, 1962, and lived in various locations throughout northern California before settling and raising their two sons in Soquel, California. Nancy held several jobs before retiring from the Soquel Elementary School District. After retirement, Nancy and Harold moved to the Community of Cohasset where she lived until recently when she moved to Hollister, California to be closer to her grandkids. Nancy enjoyed quilt making and belonged to several quilting clubs in the area where she lived. She also enjoyed watching all the woodland creatures that frequented her property in Cohasset. Nancy is survived by her sons Jonathon and Christopher (Karen) Wells, her grandchildren Riley and Taylor Wells, her brothers Arthur and Ralph Olsen, and several other loved family members. Nancy was proceeded in death by her mother Eleanor, father Franklin and husband of 53 years, Harold. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday May 3rd at 2:00 pm at Oakwood Memorial Park, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA.
