Paul Wagner, 74 years old, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2024, in Santa Cruz, California.

Paul was born to David and Anne Wagner, in Schenectady, New York. He grew up in Wayne, New Jersey and graduated from Wayne High School in 1967. Paul graduated from Bloomfield College with a degree in Psychology in 1973. Paul was a songwriter and after a few years of performing in New York, he moved to California in the 1970s and lived in the Santa Cruz area for the rest of his life.

Paul was a journalist, musician, editor, social activist, recording artist, artist manager, producer, and so much more. Paul used his tremendous intellect to examine a problem from every angle. Above all Paul was a dear friend to many people all over the world whom he deeply touched.

Paul was a brilliant intellectual with a deep love of literature, art, Buddhism, music, and his many friends. He will be missed by many people.

Paul was not married and had no children. He is survived by his brother Jeffrey.

A service for Paul will be held at Oakwood Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz CA at 10:30AM on Wednesday April 24, 2024.
