Maria Luisa Farias Salas Obituary

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Maria loved taking care of her family and loved The Lord. She served her children and husband faithfully.

She was born in Morelia, Michoacan Mexico on May 31st 1957 to Jesus Farias and Bernarda Anguiano. Maria moved to the United States in 1970, when she was around 13 years old. While not always easy, Maria managed to find her own piece of the American Dream. Passing along to her children and grandchildren a legacy of being there for family, strong work ethic, and a reverence for the Lord.

Maria met and married Juan Salas on February 15th 1983 .

Maria loved her 6 children more than anything, and strived to make sure they knew how much she loved and cared for them.

Maria was passionate about her role as mother, wife, caretaker and homemaker.

Everyone who knew Maria knew how much she loved taking care of her family and friends. Maria will always be remembered for her ability to feed anyone who entered her door. We couldn’t have asked for a better mom, and will miss her every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
