Charlotte Davis, 67, passed on from this life on September 19, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, but lived the majority of her life in the Bay Area. A memorial service was held in Santa Cruz, California at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Saturday, September 23. A kind and loving mother, friend, and therapist, Charlotte is survived by her two sons, their wives, and three grandchildren.

Following an amicable divorce in her thirties, Charlotte decided to go back to school to pursue a degree in Psychology, later becoming a Marriage Family Therapist and counseling hundreds of people throughout her life using her faith as a central component of her guidance. She continued this endeavor of helping others through counseling right to the end of her days.

Charlotte had passion and talent for many things, but cooking, gardening, making art, and caring for animals (especially wild birds) took up the majority of her free time outside of counseling and spending time with her family. In her backyard, she created a beautiful garden full of verdant flora and happy, well-fed wild birds.

Charlotte was kind to everyone she came into contact with. She lent a hand to those in need at every opportunity. She was devoted to her faith, always finding a way to connect the good things in life to God. She was truly a unique, kind, and caring soul, and her passing has left a significant hole in the hearts of those who knew her, but she lives on through the kindness she taught through her example all her life.
