Harriet Elizabeth Rogers (nee: Dalton) died Saturday, October 1, 2022 in Watsonville, California following an extended illness. She was the daughter of John and Bertha Dalton of Forest City, N.C. She attended school in Forest City, then at Peace College and UNC-Greensboro. She graduated from California State University-Hayward. She was director of Family and Children’s Services with the Monterey County Department of Social Service.

She was an avid skier, enjoyed kayaking and excelled in horsemanship with her beloved horse, Tristan.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, W.H. Dalton. She is survived by her brother, John and daughters Stephanie and Aimee; grandchildren Jordana, Jesse, Nathan and Dominic.
