I will always remember Glo’s vibrant smile and laugh. She light up a room with her beautiful light. I loved that she ended up with my Dodge dart which we called the ‘Che’Mobile because I attached a sticker of Che Guevara in the back side window. The car was once used for ‘Rebel Bakery’ ( a collective grass root bakery) delivery car in Ocean Beach. After Jeb and I used it for many years in 1989: I sold it to Rebecca for $500 and she gifted it to Glo.
Dear Jo, May your special memories which span so many years together console your grieving heart. Nothing prepares us for the loss of a loved one. Acute grief is to sacred. I am sending you warmth and compassionate thoughts.
Thank you both for your community contributions. Especially being a beautiful example of a long term committed lesbian couple; built of mutual core values, respect, honesty and integrity.
Much love ❤️ & light now & always.
