Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Susan Clyde Davis, 79, of Los Gatos, California, passed away on August 23, 2022, with her family by her side. Susan was born May 20, 1943 to Charles and Clyde Nance in San Francisco, California. She was the sister of Roger Nance, and wife of the late John Davis to whom she was married for 53 wonderful years. Susan attended Los Angeles High School, San Jose State University, and The University of Southern California. She spent her professional career first as a teacher and then as a director of human resources. She was passionate about quilting and sewing, but also enjoyed shopping, walking her dog Abbey, listening to music, traveling, and spending quality time with John, her husband and best friend. Susan lived and loved fully and embraced the quote “Quilting is like love… do it with abandon.” She is survived by her loving family: her children Scott (wife Traci), Michael, Jennifer (husband Rob), and Jessica (husband Justin); grandchildren Ryan, Elayna, Kevin, Ryan, Mark, Adam, David, Nathan, and Bradley; and pets Abbey and Lightening. Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband in 2020. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022. Floral arrangements or donations to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) would be appreciated by the family.
