A native Californian, Dave was born and raised in Marin County. Following 12 years of Jesuit education at Loyola High School, University and Law School, he entered the field of human resource management. His last position before entering private consulting practice was Vice President of Human Resources for JBL, the audio equipment manufacturer.

For the last 20 years of his professional career, Dave provided Human Resources, Organizational Change and Quality Management consulting to firms in virtually every field, in over a dozen countries around the world. During that period, he served as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Consulting and as President of Rieker Management Systems in Los Gatos.

Since his retirement, Dave and his wife Babs divide their time between travel, family, and

charitable activities. One of Dave’s favorite places was Austria, although he enjoyed his travels all over the world. He was a very accomplished photographer. He was also very devoted to his faith.

Dave is survived by his wife, Barbara “Babs,” 7 step-children, 12 step-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
