Dr. Anthony Edward York, born September 30th, 1934 and a longtime resident of Santa Cruz died on February 17th.
Tony was born in Brooklyn, New York to Anthony & Anna Yurkiewicz. After WWII his family moved back to their hometown of Ranshaw, Pennsylvania. Tony entered the Army in 1953 and was honorably discharged in 1956. Afterward he attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa where met Patricia Perkins. They married in 1961, and moved to Santa Cruz, CA where they raised their family, and he had a Chiropractic practice.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, brothers Donald (Barbara) and Ronald Yurkiewicz, his two children, Mandy and Kyle (Lynn), two grand children, Alex & Adrianna, and several nieces and nephews.
