Obituary of Gary T Todd

Gary Todd passed away on August 24, 2021 in his home after a valiant fight against cancer. The courage he demonstrated during this last year is a testament to his strength mentally, physically and spiritually. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, friend and co-worker. Gary worked at Dominican Hospital for 30 years and was one of the team leaders in their ecology program, recognized with a Philosophy In Action award in 1993. Post retirement, he was a baker at Carpo’s Restaurant in Soquel. He enjoyed baking both at work and home sharing his creations with family and friends. He was a kind, generous, funny, intelligent, creative, talented and hardworking man. He could read about a topic, decide he wanted to know more, delve into research and start doing it. Over the years, he enjoyed many hobbies, from woodworking to learning how to play guitar to building computers. Gary will be missed by many, especially his family. Celebration of Life A private service will be held to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to his memory with your favorite charity would be appreciated.
