Hello family of David Weiss, I'm one of Dave's old students, I was in California Field Studies in 1979. SLV, class of 1980. Dave was very important to me, he was a teacher and a mentor and I loved him dearly. He helped me a lot through the challenging high school years.. I probably wouldn't have finished high school if it hadn't been for Dave. We kept in touch a little over the years and I am so sorry to hear of his passing.. I am sad I didn't get to see him one last time.. My condolences to the family, this is a big loss.. I know he will remain here in all those he touched, we are all better people for having known him. Please let me know if there will be a puclic memorial, I would really like to attend. All my best, Tamara
