I will miss Aunt Helen’s easy smile and contagious laugh, along with her zest for life, wonderful cooking, and her love of family. I visited many times throughout the years, and always left feeling loved. Whether it was a walk, bike ride, going junking, picking up street money, as she called it, or ice cream at the local spot, her cooking my favorite meal, or a drive along the coast in her Camero. She is the last of the Hecemovich immediate siblings to pass away, which is the end of a wonderful family legacy. She was my mother’s closest sibling, and I know they shared a special relationship. My heartfelt condolences to Jerry, and all those that loved and cared for her. She will be missed, but her memory will live on with me for a lifetime.
