I was a patient of Dr. Oster for many years. In 2011, I had a older family member who had been told he needed to have a tooth pulled. He was Resistant to the idea, probably scared, felt he could "pray" and his tooth would get better. I managed to get him into see Dr. Oster, who looked at his tooth, evaluated the situation and said, yes, the tooth needed to be pulled. He was so very kind and patient, convinced the gentleman that he could pull the tooth without any problem. He did get the tooth out, talked so kindly to the gentleman, gave him his cell number and told him to call if any problem at all. I will never forget the kindness, the patience, the respect he showed to the patient, the professional way he treated a very scared and wary patient.
Dr. Oster was just one in a million.
