Billie Joyce Hightower was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on February 23, 1944 and passed away in Santa Cruz, California on February 16, 2020. She was well known as the mother of New Beginning Community Church.
She is survived by her children Debra Hightower, Darryl Hightower and Sharon Hightower, Grandchildren Kesha Howard, Aaliyah Wilson, Michael Shirley, Markeen Kennon, Amber Hightower, Jamahl Hightower and Dominique Hightower, along with Great-grandchildren Nevell, Craig, Micah and Michelle.
Come serve the Lord with gladness and joyful songs! Join us to Celebrate the Life of Billie Joyce on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Oakwood Memorial Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz, CA. Visitation from 9:00am to 11:00am, Funeral Service at 11:00am with Burial to follow at Santa Cruz Memorial Park, 1927 Ocean Street Extension, Santa Cruz, CA.
