Obituary of Jerrold David Pifer
Jerrold David Pifer was born January 11, 1981 to William and Patricia in San Jose, California. Jerry spent his childhood in the Almaden area of San Jose attending Los Gatos Christian School, after grade school he moved into the San Lorenzo Valley attending San Lorenzo Valley Jr. High; he then attended Harbor High School. Following High School, Jerry joined the Associated Builders and Contractors, where he became a skilled electrician, working as a Foreman Electrician at Anderson Pacific Engineering Construction.
Jerry was an athletic child, playing soccer and traveling around California for his games and tournaments. As an adult he enjoyed many different activities watching the San Jose Sharks, dirt bike riding, camping hanging out with his family and friends. He loved his job and co-workers, and the Boulder Creek Men’s Club where he’d played horse races and Sunday skins games.
Jerry met his wife Kelly in middle school and later they were married, June 7, 2008, they have two boys Landon and Mason. One of his passions was spending time with them, watching their games; his favorite thing was doing what they wanted to do. They enjoyed vacationing to Hawaii and Disneyland and playing golf together as a family.
Jerrold is survived by his wife of 11 years Kelly, their two sons Landon and Mason, his mother Patricia Pifer and his three sisters Kim Pifer, Jamie Garcia, Joanie Pifer, 5 nieces Kendra Olvera, Ahsley Carter, Tami Carter, Madison Hamilton and 5 nephews Jake Marquez-Pifer, Monte Olvera, Nathan Garcia, Brody Garcia, Alex Yslava, 2 great Nieces Sage and Katie Garcia. He is preceded in death by his sister Tami Olvera and his father William Pifer.
Services for Jerrold are scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Boulder Creek Community Church 12465 CA -9; Boulder Creek at 1:00pm, following the memorial service there will be a gathering at the Boulder Creek Golf and Country Club 16901 Big Basin Hwy, Boulder Creek.
