Irene and I were neighbors in aptos for many years, enjoying daily chats about plants, our families, her home in Germany, her years in the clothing business, and our mutual love of painting. I always appreciated viewing her lovely artwork, her nicely furnished home, and her very fashionable and ever-changing wardrobe. She often told me stories of her early years in aptos, and when I played my guitar in my backyard, she would sometimes call out compliments to me from her backyard. We cared about each other, and I'll miss you, Irene. Be safe.
