Obituary of Ronald Dean Hunter

Passed Away Dec 23, 12 after a two year battle with Pancreas Cancer he was 45. Ron was born and raised in Santa Cruz, attended local schools he worked for Coles Chevron and he got his start in the moving business with Robert and Sons moving then went to Locatelli (Moving & Storage Inc.) United Van Lines until the cancer was discovered. Ron loved to go camping, fishing, hunting, hiking and skateboarding he loved the ocean and he would stay for hours at the beach. Ron is survived by his parents Charles and Charlotte Hunter, brother Rich and his wife Lori, his sister Delaine and three precious nieces whom he called his own girls Larissa, Chesney and Michelle all of Santa Cruz, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. At his request there will be no service he wanted to be cremated and scattered at sea. A Special thank you to hospice of Santa Cruz for taking care of Ron. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of Santa Cruz or the Cancer Society or The Boys and Girls Club.
