Obituary of Dena Lynn Edwards

Dena Lynn (Watson) Edwards, 54, passed away November 28, 2012 in Castroville, CA. Dena was born January 16, 1958 in Ellensburg, WA to Gerry and Geordy Watson. Dena graduated from Ellensburg High School in the class of 1976 and attended Central Washington University. She married Richard Edwards on October 25, 1980 and they moved to California. Since 1983 Dena worked as an accountant and Enrolled Agent for Froshman, Billings & Lewandowski Certified Public Accountants. She had a talent and passion for singing and was a member and treasurer of the famous Cabrillo Chorus which toured internationally. She was a creative cook, and enjoyed sharing her skills with her family. Her family was the focus of her life, she took great joy in her boys' interests and accomplishments. Dena was preceded in death by her father Gerry and is survived by her husband Richard and sons Gareth and Ethan. Also surviving are her mother Geordy; sisters, Jeri Freeburg (John), Julie Biwer, Kelli McBride and brother, Edward Watson (Laura) and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Andrews Catholic Church in Ellensburg, WA on Friday December 7, 2012.
