Obituary of Nina B. Kuhn

Nina B. Kuhn passed away peacefully October 30th at the age of 88. Nina was born in Riga, Latvia on January 25, 1924 to Max and Vera Buckowsky. Nina married the love of her life, Karl H. Kuhn on January 18, 1945 in Germany. They were married for 58 years. Nina and Karl lived in Germany, Peru and then settled in St. Louis, Missouri for 49 years. After Karl passed in 2003, Nina remained in St. Louis for 3 years, then moved to Laguna Woods, Ca. but 5 years ago she moved to Santa Cruz to be near her daughter Winnie and lived a wonderful life at Dominican Oaks for almost 5 years. Nina was an avid gardener and managed her and Karl's apartments for many years in St. Louis. Nina is survived by her two daughters, Winnie Partridge (Rym) and Brigitte Wolverton (Gilbert) and six grandchildren. The Partridge Family is very grateful for the loving care provided by Myrna's Home Health Care Service, Hospice of Santa Cruz, Dr. Jay Jackson and Dr. Jack Watson during her final days. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to your charity of your choice.
