Obituary of Mary Louise Tufft

Mary L. Tufft, 86, passed away on August 31, 2012 at her home in Felton . Mary was born in Santa Ana, Texas and worked as a nurse at Children's Hospital in Oakland. She retired in 1980 and moved to Felton where she was a devoted member of Felton Presbyterian Church. Mary enjoyed flowers, birds and sewing. Mary is survived by her 3 daughters: Caroline Dalton of Alameda, Linda Wright of Felton and Mary Jane Whitehead of Washington, her sisters Oma Faye Benken of Texas, Patricia Duncan and brother Luther Dalton both of New Mexico, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband James David Tufft, who passed away in 2002. Services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00pm at Felton Presbyterian Church 6090 Highway 9 Felton, CA. A contribution can be made in Mary's memory to Breast Cancer research.
