Obituary of Ry Field Anderson

Ry Field was born in San Jose and raised from infancy in Santa Cruz County. He attended Aptos High and Cabrillo College. Ry was lead singer in a local band - The Highway Murderers. He recently completed his State welding certification. He was employed by Summit Steel Works in San Jose. Ry is survived by his son, Symon Storm, mother Vickie, father Gary, brother Reid, sister-in-law, Somer, nephews, Dillon & Ethan. He is also survived by his adopted family, Jack, Noak and partner Raeanne. All reside in Santa Cruz County. The rest of Ry's beloved tribe: aunts, uncles, and cousins live in Nebraska and Iowa. Ry loved being a dad, hanging with friends, listening and playing music, skateboarding, reading and motorcycling. His favorite love was playing and fishing with his boys. He will be remembered by his passionate family of friends. His kind heart and great sense of humor will be greatly missed. His death was sudden and totally unexpected. Ry's journey through life ended way too soon for any of us to understand. We will celebrate his memory, Saturday, August 18, 2012, 1pm at Santa Cruz Memorial-Oakwood Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Rd, Santa Cruz (near Dominican Hospital). His family would appreciate if you would during the celebration, share any funny or poignant stories about Ry's short time with us. In Lieu of flowers we have established a trust account for Symon S.
