I met Steve at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant when he arrived as an "intern". He made an immediate impact and was liked and respected by his fellow Health Physics Technicians. Steve and I worked for months and years, side by side, in and around the Turkey Point Rad Waste Building in the terrible heat , the never ending mosquitoes and other biting bugs. We hated that part of the job. We kept each other entertained and gave each other as much "crap" as we could stand. He was fun to work with and had a wicked sense of humor. I finally was able to talk him into taking a training job at Turkey Point where he flourished as an Instructor. I could never forget him and will remember him with many crazy memories and a big smile. I have missed him since I left Turkey Point in 1989 and will remember him well to many others who don't know yet that he is gone. He was a good man.
