Jody and I played a lot of bridge together in our teens and 20s. Pretty sure I taught him the game while killing time at the La Selva Clubhouse. He quickly got better than me, and no matter how badly I messed up the bidding, when I laid down the dummy, he always said " Thank you, partner". That's grace, and may God's Grace be with him now.
