I'm literally in shock to hear that my childhood and lifelong friend David Zamboni passed away the other day. We just re kindled our friendship a few years back and have stayed very close since. He was flying down next weekend per his text to me last week to spend the night out on the town like when we were kids. This is a very sad day for me as I reflect on our days as kids going to Casey's Arcade after school or riding our bikes, playing Atari, getting in fights at the beach, and our time at Moorpark College where he basically tutored all of us. He was the smartest person I ever knew. I'm glad I got to spend time with his family camping at Catalina and seeing his kids when he would come through town on vacations. We got to go to a few concerts and party like rock stars and honestly when he would have a few beers he'd turn into the kid I remember from way back. I still can't believe he's gone. We had such big plans to vacation and hang out as we grew older. RIP Davey. I miss you buddy. I only have a few true friends that go back as far as you. I dont even know what more to say other than the world just lost one of its best.
