First off I would like to say i am so sorry for your loss and we give you are deepest condolences. Matt was my friend. My name is Nicki Grasso. I just found out last week april 15 2018 that he had passed away or I would of made it a point to be there. Matt was like my brother. He was funny and he loved all his friends. The kid had jokes . I loved hanging with Matt and Nathan. All three of us had a bond that no one will ever understand because we just clicked . We have been friends for over 20 years and I have lots of memories when it comes to Matt . He loved skating, he was always curious about others because he cared . He did not like negativity . That is one thing he did not like. He would always change the subject if the subject was about negativity. Matt was one of my best friends brothers anyone could ever have. I tried to help him. My husband and I prayed that he would get on his feet and move into an apartment. I even gave him the cost of living where I live and it is cheap compared to Santa Cruz. We had a lot in common . I was not born in Butte County , but my grands moved there when i was a older teen. He loved Paradise , he loved Santa Cruz and most of all he loved his kids so much. He did not want to move out of SC because of his kids. They were his everything. He talked to me and told me these things. My husband liked Matt too. We all facetaked and my husband never met him in person , but liked him from what he knew of him and facetalk on the pc. .. Matt was cool with everyone. He had no enemies. he just liked it to be chill. LOL. Awe I will miss you matt. Love ya brother and I will see you up there with Nathan maybe not soon , but someday . We love your life homeboy!
