Obituary of Milton R. Entwistle

Milton R. Entwistle of Santa Cruz, California, passed away peacefully on Feb. 1, 2018. He was born in New York to Lauretta Ross Entwistle and Robert S. Entwistle on Sept. 27, 1917. He was preceded in death in 2003 by his wife of 64 years, Geraldine. He had a sister and brother who also preceded him in death. Milt is survived by son Chuck (Laura), son Jerry, and daughter Lauretta Slike (Cliff), along with 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well by his special friend Bonnie Organ. Milt served in the Navy during WWII as a Corpsman, retired from Lockheed Martin after 30 years, was a Master Mason, Rear Commodore with the USGC-Aux, past Squadron Commander of Sail and Power Squadron Santa Cruz/Monterey and volunteered with the Red Cross for 50 years. He and Geraldine will always be remembered for their contributions to the Santa Cruz Harbor Watch Tower and the Clock Tower. There will be a Celebration of Life on March 10, 2018 from 11am to 4pm at his home in Santa Cruz. In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate your generous donation to the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Scholarship Fund, Santa Cruz Chapter, 3071 Dover Dr., Santa Cruz, CA 95065.
