Obituary of Dorothy Thelma Meinert

Dorothy Thelma Meinert, 92, also known as Dee, passed away peacefully at her Livermore home. Born in San Francisco, she gradu¬ated from Sonoma Valley High School. She worked at the Worlds Fair on Treasure Island and the FMC plant in Fremont. She later moved to Silver Springs, NV where she worked for the Nevada Cement Co. She returned to California and lived in Santa Cruz for many years, where she was President of the Golden State Mobile Home Assoc. for a few years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mel and Nola Meinert, her 6 grand¬children, Steven and Dennis Thurman, Donna Martines, Jim Thurman, Bob Meinert and Cheri Stephens. She had 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and was preceded in death by her daughter Marsha Marlene Thurman and her husband of 52 years, Harold Frank Meinert.
