Dear Melissa,
I will always remember your mom driving us to Riding Lessons at Thomas School in Huntington. She drove a yellow(?) VW bus and at times drove too fast...or in the middle of two lanes. I remember saying to her..." Mrs. Knopf ...the police will take away your license ..you're driving too fast." " Oh honey"....she replied..."Don't worry , I don't have a license!".
My deepest sympathies. Your mom had the best smile, the best laugh, the best topping for a fruit salad and the best devoted daughter.
