Obituary of Andrew J Poulos

Andrew Poulos was born in New York City to Emanuel & Caliope Poulos who emigrated from Crete, Greece, where he and the family enjoyed visiting. He was the youngest of five children. After his service in the Army following WWII he received a BA from Hunter College in NYC and a MA from Boston University. He moved to Soquel in 1968. After a brief career as a school teacher, he pursued a career in Human Resources working for Plantronics and other high technology firms. He also served on the Soquel school board. Andrew will be remembered for his "quick wit", love of music, family and everything Greek! His is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia of Soquel, CA. Sons; John Poulos of Camarillo, CA; Christopher Poulos of Soquel, CA and five grandchildren; Aaron, August, Alex, Henry and Deanna. Private services will be held at a later date.
