We are friends of the family, and met Walt years ago while he was visting his daughter Joy in Western New York. We loved Walt from the get-go, a man full of humor, vigor, curiosty and love of live. Whenever we have a cold, rainy day in Rochester, NY (that never happens) I remember that Walt said he only hated two places in the world, Rochester and a small town in Germany. It makes me laugh and embrace the day. My husband's father, Art, died young and Walt was the kind of person that he invisioned his dad would have been like in his later years.
