Obituary of Fred Otanez

Fred peacefully went to be with the Lord on his 85th birthday. He lived across the street from SLV schools in the home he re-built. He moved from the Bay Area and purchased the Felton Acres Pool and restored it with his wife Bobbie. She and their 5 teenagers ran the local business, while Fred was a Chief Surveyor working on projects like BART and Great America. He was preceded in death by his eldest son Rick in 2011. He will be missed by his beloved wife of 63 yrs, Barabra (Bobbie), 5 children; Linda (Mike) Manion, Sharon (Dennis) Sinnott, Lorrie (Jim) McMannis, Mark and Michelle. Also 15 grand., 15 gr. grand. & 2 gr. great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be April 9th at 2pm at the SC Municipal Wharf Stage.
