Obituary of Brenda L. Simpson

Services will be held Saturday, April 1st for Brenda Louise Simpson who passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15th. She was 56 years old. Brenda was a lifelong resident of Santa Cruz. She was born on April 17, 1960 to parents Marie Gann and Stanley Fox. She attended local schools graduating from Soquel High School. Brenda worked for the County of Santa Cruz for 25 years, retiring as a Collections Supervisor. Brenda loved to garden, take trips to Reno and spend time with her grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her husband Tony Simpson, son Michael Kirby, and grandchildren Lillian and Aaliyah Kirby. She was preceded in death by her son Matthew Ross Kirby. Memorial Services for Brenda will be held at Oakwood Memorial Crystal Chapel, 3301 Paul Sweet Road, Santa Cruz on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
