Obituary of Ramona Jean Annas

Ramona Annas passed away peacefully in her home on January 7th. She was preceded in death by her parents Kelsey and Evelyn, brother Lowell, and sister Naomi. She is survived by her husband Donald, children Shari, Sandee, Dawnella and Chris, brothers Ron and Kelsey, her sister Audrey, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Ramona and her husband, Donald, pastored for 25 years in Manteca at 1st Assembly of God before moving to Scotts Valley in 1977 to the leadership of the N.Cal./Nevada District of the Assemblies God. Ramona supported her husband for the next 20 years in his role as District Secretary-Treasurer and District Superintendent, travelling with him across Northern California and Nevada in those roles. Rev. Annas resigned his position as District Superintendent in 1997 to care for his wife, who would wrestle for the next 20 years with Alzheimer's disease. Ramona was a kind and caring person, a loving wife and a good mother to her children and loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She leaves a husband of 66 years and a family who will sorely miss her. A Celebration of Ramona's life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at the Christian Life Center, 1009 Mission Street, Santa Cruz, Ca 95060
