John A. Bettencourt Obituary
John A. Bettencourt passed peacefully at his home in Santa Cruz on Oct. 31, 2011 surrounded by family and friends, at the age of 69. As a carpenter of both residential and commercial building, he loved his profession and built not only homes, but friendships with those whom he worked.
He leaves behind his wife Karen Bettencourt, his daughter Constance Ayala, his son John Bettencourt, his grandsons Christopher Ayala, Tyler Ayala, Jason Ayala, and Peter Bettencourt, his grand daughter Madeline Bettencourt , his
great grandson Zacharias Ayala, his great granddaughter Makayla Ayala, and many other friends and family members.
Services will be held at Santa Cruz Memorial's
Mariposa Garden on Nov. 21, 2011 at 11am.
