Obituary of Lillian Nubia Dawson

Lillian Nubia Dawson (n. Cristofani) went to be with the Lord on March 13, 2015. Lillian was the loving wife of John Dawson for 42 years, and devoted mother of three sons- Justin, 42, Daniel, 40, and Luke, 33. A resident of Danville, CA for 26 years, Lillian was born in San Francisco, the daughter of Luigi and Maria Cristofani, both of whom were natives of Lucca, Italy. Mrs. Dawson met her future husband John in Kindergarten in Redwood City, CA in 1953. After being separated for a few years, they were reacquainted in Junior High School and were sweethearts while students at San Carlos High School. Mrs. Dawson attended 2 years of college at College of San Mateo and a semester at the University of Florence, Italy. The couple were married on June 3, 1972 in Carmel, CA at the old Highlands Inn. Mrs. Dawson loved people and all who knew her were blessed by her warm, caring spirit. She loved cooking wonderful meals for her family and had a love of the ocean which took her and her husband on many trips to Hawaii, Florida and the Caribbean. She loved her family, church, studying the Bible and reading. She is survived by her twin brother Frank, her husband John and three sons.
