Obituary of Rolonda Marie Edwards-Helie

Rolonda Marie Edwards-Helie was born May 13th, 1969 in Santa Cruz, California to Doris Marie Edwards and Frank Edwards. She attended Santa Cruz High School where she graduated in 1987. Rolonda resided in Elk Grove, California with her two children. Anyone who knew Rolonda knows she was a woman of many talents. Her passions in life; singing, dancing and fashion modeling are what gave her life until her untimely departure on January 25th, 2015. Rolonda Edwards-Helie leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Devyn Helie and Kiki (Kiaura) Helie, her mother, Doris Edwards, her father, Frank Edwards and his wife, Mrs. Shirley Edwards, her grandfather Robert Lowery, her two sisters, LaToya Stanley and Angie Taubodo. She is also survived by her six uncles, seven aunts, 36 first cousins and a multitude of second and third generation cousins. Many of those who she called her extended family she loved as her family. She is preceded in death by her brother Frank Raggae Edwards, her grandmothers Rodessia Lowery and BetsyAnn Palmer, her grandfather Arthur Palmer and uncle, Jessie L. Palmer. Funeral services will be held at Garfield Park Circle Church, 111 Errett Circle, Santa Cruz on Saturday, January 31, at 1:00 P.M., and graveside services will follow at Santa Cruz Memorial Park. Visitation at the church will begin at 12:00 Noon.
