Heartfelt sympathy to Evelyn's family. She was my neighbor for more than 20 years and I was the better for it; she was warm, wise and supportive. Her great-granddaughter is lucky to have her as a name sake.

On behalf of the Soquel Pioneer and historical Association, I would like to offer our condolences to the Evelyn's family.
Evelyn has always been a strong supporter of the Pioneers. She was a bright star at our picnics and a consistent raffle prize winner. I do not remember a picnic that she did not attend.
We will miss her.

Evelyn was my mother's maid of honor and she and Marty were lifelong friends of my parents, Marion and Frances Hobbs. She was a lovely woman. My condolences to the Blakemore family.
