Obituary of Ruth Edna Young

Ruth Edna Young, affectionately known as "Renee" by her friends, was a loving woman who would always to find the lighter side of life. She was always good for a shoulder to cry on and a great confidante, if you needed help she would be there for you even if it meant she would struggle financially to do it. She loved to teach people how to cook, bake, do crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, making homemade jewelry and singing silly songs until they got stuck in your head. "Gram you were a good mom the best gram, great grandma, sister or aunt anyone could ask for. We will miss you terribly but will keep your memory alive by sharing our precious memories and singing the silly songs you loved so much. We hope we continue to make you proud." She is survived by her children, Vicki, Dean, Brian and their spouses, Gary, Wendy and Jody; grandchildren, Brandi, Daniel, John, Amanda, Timothy, Tiffany, Natalia, Trevor, Shiia and Eva; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Rebecca, Isabella, Malina, Aubrie, Summer, Gabriel, Kimberely, Briaunna, Ethan, Eli and Caden (on the way); sisters, Carmen, Lois, and Florence; and brothers, Roger and Lester. A special thank you to friends who cared for her while family could not and to Marie who was there for her during her last moments as she passed into the caring arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
