Obituary of Dandy Cunha

Dandy Cunha, 78, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was the daughter of Sydney and Sarah Enefer. Dandy was a native of Stratford-On-Avon, England. Dandy obtained her Bachelor's Degree while she was in England and went on to teach typing for business schools for 15 years. From England she lived in Ottawa, Canada, San Jose, CA and eventually settled in Felton, CA where she had resided for the last 32 years. Among her many accomplishments Dandy was a pilot and Red Cross Volunteer. She also was skilled at beadwork, knitting and hand embroidering. Dandy is survived by her stepchildren, David Cunha (Sheryl), Judy Holstein (Gary), Kathy Johnson (Jan), Dinah Gulland (Tim) and Katie Gonzales; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary & Rita Pacheco; her cousin, Sheila Moors of England; 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many wonderful neighbors. Dandy was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Daniel Cunha, on September 12, 2014. Services for Dandy will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 am, Santa Cruz Memorial Mission Chapel, 1927 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz.
