Obituary of Michelle Diane Walker

Michelle Diane Walker, 46, of Santa Cruz, CA passed away at home on September 2, 2014. Michelle was born in Napa, CA to Karen McBain and David Walker on November 29, 1967. She went to Harbor High and went on to Cabrillo College majoring in Culinary Arts. In her last years she worked for the Santa Cruz County School Districts as a food service coordinator. Michelle enjoyed shopping, watching movies, and enjoying life with her family and friends. Michelle had an infectious smile which will never be forgotten. Michelle leaves behind her parents, Karen McBain and David Walker; her children, Lena Kathleen Bonds (25) and Nathanial Bancroft Walker (14); as well as her infant grandson, Gabriel Maximus Perez (6 months). Michelle was preceded in death by her older sister, Wendy Kathleen Walker. A private burial for immediate family only was held at Santa Cruz Memorial Park in the Mausoleum. A celebration of life memorial will be conducted in early October. Please contact the family for more information.
