Obituary of Beverly Jean Booye

Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Beverly Booye Rittener passed into the Lord's presence on Sunday afternoon, August 24th, 2014 at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Eric Rittener, her sons and daughters, Rick Booye, Priscilla Carter, David Booye, Laurie Windmiller, and Daniel Booye as well as thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dick Booye. Beverly is a strong Christian, was a wonderful home-maker, and a good friend. She has lived in Santa Cruz for the last sixty years, raising her children, contributing to her church at Twin Lakes Church in Aptos and cultivating family, friendships and ministry. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and yet we all sense that her graduation at this time is part of a gracious plan, a plan she eagerly entered into and greatly trusted. There will be a memorial service for Beverly at Twin Lakes Church at 3:00 pm on Sunday August 31.
