Obituary of Dorothy Emily Fry

Dorothy Emily (Hubel) Fry passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her heavenly father, she will be welcomed by many loving friends and family. She leaves behind three daughters, Donna Hesprich, Arlene Rieth (Paul) and Debbie Hagerman (Robert), 4 grandchildren, Rick (Jeannie), Xena (Bill), James and Sarah, 7 great grandchildren, Courtney & Cameron, William, Lily, Anna, Sarah & Emma. She was born and raised in San Jose and attended Los Gatos High and Calvary Baptist Church. She married Arthur Fry and moved to Santa Cruz in 1957 where they raised their three daughters and attended Twin Lakes Baptist Church. She played the piano and organ, was an avid gardener, knitted and crocheted. Dorothy loved her San Francisco Giants. She had a good sense of humor, great personality, a good heart, loved people and people admired her. We will miss her. Graveside services are at Oakwood Cemetary at 11:00 on June 3rd with reception to follow at Hindquarter Restaurant in Santa Cruz.
